Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund excluding handling charges
Processing Time: 5-7 business days
Charges: €50 for payment by card
Terms: Must be requested through written correspondence via email or communication over the phone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: Half of the total charter cost
Processing Time: 7-10 business days
Charges: €25 deducted from the reimbursement
Terms: A justified reason is required; administrative charges will be incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Eligible for: No possibility of refund
Exception: Instances of emergency may be taken into consideration
Alternative: Management may provide a charter credit at their discretion
Terms: Proper documentation is required for emergency claims
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Your safety stands as our paramount concern. When weather conditions are judged to be hazardous for sailing by our professional captain, you will be presented with these flexible options:
- Full Refund: Provided when rescheduling isn't feasible
- Reschedule: Transfer your booking to a subsequent available date without any additional fee
- Charter Credit: Obtain a voucher that's valid for one year from the initial booking date
Assessment of Weather
The evaluation of weather integrates the following elements:
- Checking wind direction and intensity
- Surveying wave dimension and sea states
- Forecasting visibility and precipitation
- Inspecting Coast Guard advisories and warnings
- Reviewing the safety assessment from a professional captain
Timeframe for Decision: Choices concerning weather cancellations will be taken no less than 4 hours before the planned departure.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Situations of Urgency
Medical emergencies sometimes arise unexpectedly. For these scenarios, special allowances may be made:
- Sudden sickness or accidental harm that leads to hospital stay
- Possesing a close relative pass away
- Impromptu military obligations or recalls
- Civic obligations requiring your presence
- Acts of nature that interrupt travel plans
Necessary Evidence
The following documentation is essential to process any requests based on emergencies:
- Documents from medical facilities or a medical certificate
- A certificate of death (where relevant)
- Orders from the military
- Legal summons or proof of civic duty
- Advisories regarding travel or emergencies declarations
Handling: Refunds involving emergencies are handled within 3-5 business days following acceptance of appropriate documentation.
Issues with Operations
Vessel Malfunctions
In the event the allocated boat encounters unrecoverable mechanical issues:
- Alternative Vessel: Every effort will be made to offer a substitute of similar standing
- Full Refund: Provided when no adequate replacement is obtainable
- Partial Refund: Granted if the alternative has a difference in cost
- Redress: Additional reparation might be proposed for any problems caused
Lack of Crew
On rare occasions where a certified crew is not accessible:
- A substitute crew will be arranged if possible
- A full refund is issued if the charter cannot take place
- No extra charges for rescheduling

Restitutions will be processed back to the initial method used to make the reservation:
- Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

€50 fee for cancellations with notice exceeding 72 hours

€25 fee for reimbursements via bank transfer

Vouchers for Charter
Offering of Credits
Credits for charters might be put forward as an alternative to repayments under certain situations:
- Cancellations that occur unexpectedly (less than 24 hours prior)
- Cancellations linked to unfavorable weather
- Requests for voluntary rescheduling
- Interruptions in service due to operational issues
Conditions for Credit
- Duration of Validity: 12 months from date of issue
- Restrictions on Transfer: Credits cannot be passed to others
- Worth: Equivalent to the full value of the charter, exempt from handling fees
- Application: Applicable towards any charter that's available
- Expiry: Cannot be extended past 12 months
Reimbursement for Partial Services
Interruptions in Service
If your yacht rental is interrupted or cut short due to issues within our control:
- Refund proportionate to the unutilized period
- Voucher for a future charter equivalent in value
- Offer of complimentary extras or upgrades
Disruptions Caused by Guests
Should the charter need to be concluded prematurely due to behaviour of guests or violations of safety protocols:
- No reimbursement for the unspent duration
- Complete charge remains payable
- Guests may be subject to extra costs
Settling of Disputes
If there's any disagreement regarding a refund decision, the following avenues are available:
- Appeal for a reassessment by our senior team
- Submission of further documentation or substantiation
- Engagement with consumer protection bodies
- Consideration of legal avenues per the governing laws

Step 3: Review and Execution
After receiving your request, we will acknowledge it within a day, examine it in accordance with our policy, provide our determination within two days, and carry out eligible refunds as per the processing times stated.
Essential Information
- All requests for refunds must be conveyed in written form
- Restitutions are carried out in €, which is independent of the currency used for the initial payment
- Acquiring travel insurance is highly endorsed
- Changes to this policy may occur, given a notice period of 30 days
- Refunds are bound by applicable taxes and regulations
